When he first heard about the tragic accident that Senator Elect Joe Biden's wife was involved in, he did a very decent thing and made a phone call expressing his condolences. Thankfully, for history, we have this phone call - and office discussion - preserved as part of the secret White House recordings uncovered during Watergate. Sure, Nixon might not have been the most eloquent speaker at expressing his condolences, but you gotta admit, his heart was in the right place.

Earlier this week, I had a QR code on my phone for a free Nero coffee, so I ordered the largest and most expensive one on the menu. As I moved my phone towards the scanner, the payment machine picked up my mobile in its vicinity and charged me the cost - £5 - which the barista couldn't cancel.😡
