New reports say he filed the suit in Florida yesterday.

Am going to have a look at this and will post more later.

I spoke to the most excellent @jim.londoncentric.media about being fined in a park for cycling 4mph over a notional speed limit. The parks police told me there had been complaints from dog walkers about speedy cyclists. Turns out this was untrue. www.londoncentric.media/p/speed-came...

Encountering a misinformation campaign in real time. The bystander who tackled the gunman at Bondi was identified as Ahmed el Ahmed (link below). But in almost every tweet I saw, there are people claiming the real person is "Edward Crabtree," referencing a website called "The Daily."

In the aftermath of the devastation at Bondi, a deluge of footage poured onto social media. One video of an act of incredible bravery stood out.

I think he's right. In the 90s the perception was that intolerance was dying. It's now clear that intolerance is growing and the optimism of the 90s is gone. And I'm very sad about this.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

He's right. We have deprived and dehumanised people who have come here with nothing. It's utterly shameful.
I've spent three days in Calais & it's horrendous.

People living in disgusting conditions. Our Government is spending £476m on the militarisation of the border.

We must divert that money to a humanitarian response that treats people with basic dignity.
