This is a longer thread about theatrical windows but I wanted to highlight this as getting into vinyl 6 years ago really changed how I viewed music and helped solidify my tastes and helped me rediscover music I loved previously
It's the same reason a lot of people still enjoy buying records even though you can listen to all the songs on YouTube or Spotify for free - the act of having to deliberately choose and commit money to the process of consuming the media just feels better than endless algorithmic slop shuffle.

A good friend used to often compliment me on the color of my lips.
Also not unhinged but at my high school graduation in 2006 many people said I looked like a director since I said that was my goal, which is only funny because I was the spitting image of LotR era Peter Jackson at the time
