“TOY STORY”

“Silverado? Well yeah that sounds like a grand time”

“TOY STORY TOY STORY”

“Sure you got it, Silverado. All the kids love Silverado…”

Force Awakens came out 10 years ago today.

Since then Star Wars has both delivered something better than my wildest dreams and also ended up in a place worse than I imagined it could.

*int. Baltimore Harbor Police office, night*
Night janitor: McNulty! What are you doing working so late?
McNulty: Earlier today I found a dead body in the harbor! And I'm studying these tide charts so that I can prove it's our responsibility! 1/2

Maggie Smith stayed “about 60” for like three decades.
Anyone else surprised to learn that Maggie Smith was only 58 in SISTER ACT (1992)?

I kind of think this is true, and it is going to bring about some VERY strange bedfellows that will be an interesting experiment for the left and liberals.
I can’t quite put it into words, but Trump praising Mamdani on the same day that MTG resigns in opposition to “big Tech, big Pharma, the war complex and big donors” feels like a harbinger of realignment.

There is a political earthquake trembling beneath the surface waiting to break through.

Trump proposes 50-year mortgages. Tay Zonday predicted all of this:

So when they talk about the housing crisis
They never say we need to lower housing prices
We need better devices to afford high prices
Meaning higher debt/lower interest cuz you're underpaid to begin with

As Marx once said
This is a great point and nobody ever frames it this way.

Barely any major league athlete is overpaid, they are all underpaid relative to the revenue they produce for their billionaire owners who do basically nothing for the team except maybe meddle to make it worse.

POSTER: I made my classic post about tech CTO’s creating the torment nexus to highlight the recklessness and poor media literacy of tech CTOs

TECH CTO: the torment nexus post is a cautionary tale about being mean to me
"Torment Nexus" comes from this tweet and is often used now to describe the kind of negative experiences you can have with social networks, like getting dogpiled or harassed or being pushed into conflict
