This seems like a steal for the White Sox. I know teams are reportedly worried about his K rate, but when has that stopped them from loading up on all-or-nothing talent?

The White Sox hadn't employed a Japanese player since Kosuke Fukudome in 2012, which is a lesser reason why today's Munetaka Murakami news surprises.

The White Sox just won MLB’s draft lottery. UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky will enter spring as the favorite to go No. 1. Could be a good class for shortstops overall, though, with prepsters Grady Emerson and Jacob Lombard and Alabama's Justin Lebron in the running for top-five selections.
