(tweet 3) Marianne: You rode a pegasus with your mother? Ignatz: Yes, I heard she was a pegasus knight a long time ago, and when I showed interest, she took me for a ride. Ignatz: I saw the whole of Leicester spread out before me. It stirred something in my heart, and I...I wanted... (tweet 1) The actual text - Ignatz speaking so passionately about it, even over painting, which is what most of his other supports are about, and emphasizing how it stirred something in his heart and being afraid of Marianne seeing to his true feelings - feels extremely Trans Of Gender. (tweet 2) Intsys doesn't really *go* there so I doubt it was intended, but they sure accidentally created an extremely plausible trans woman reading, lol. It's pretty great, to be honest. I like Ignatz more now. (tweet 3) It fits in really well with the rest of his narrative, too - the second son, expected to become a traditionally masculine role that he clearly has no interest in yet feels obligated towards, who longs for a kinder life where he can pursue his dreams. (tweet 4) He's also fixated on the goddess, who is this sort of ideal of femininity and grace that he's grown up with.
