I finished the DLC missions for Ace Combat 7, which is my first time playing those.
They were great. Just straight up having bonkers Metal Gear Solid villains and constantly firing on all cylinders. I think I'd like to see Project Aces do a side game that's all high-octane like that.

Strongly considering getting Romeo is a Dead Man on PS5. Been really looking forward to it, but $55 is a lot this early in the month.

i like to think of the kitchen as the “food zone,” because it’s where you store your food, it’s where you cook your food, and depending on your layout it might be where you eat your food. at first i was annoyed that this wasn’t getting any engagement but then i realized that i hadn’t posted it yet

The overarching message of the Ace Combat series is to never build any giant machine in the name of peace because it *will* be a nightmare war crime generator by the time it's done.

Just wrapped up my revisit of the PS2 Ace Combat trilogy. They all still hold up so well, with 5 and Zero being two of my favorite games of the entire console generation.
Even though I think Zero is the peak of the series, I'm looking forward to playing 6 and 7 again.
