I am unemployed right now and have a “sick note” due to mental health issues I developed as a result of an unethical employer mishandling my ASD diagnosis. A job literally made me too sick to even look for work for the rest of the year. Think on that.

Judging by the banging and drilling above my head, the solar panel install is happening today rather than tomorrow. Glad it’ll be over and done, but my fear of the house falling down around me is kicking in (also, it means a couple less hours of sleep than I had hoped for)

I knew mentioning the solar panels would jinx it! The panels are here and all the electrical prep work is getting done, but the roofers/scaffolders are delayed. 😩 So the actual panel installs won’t be until tomorrow now, and hook up to the system probably will be next week. Ho hum…

it is so infuriating that the uk is still taking a navel gazing approach to these illnesses and trying to re-invent the wheel halfheartedly, and whilst still permeated by BPS ideology.
