Portlandia is now Obama-era nostalgia. I will rewatch it specifically for that reason.

In Metal Gear Solid (1998), when fighting the Hind D helicopter, you're advised to keep track of its location by listening to the stereo panning. But if you've set "Sound" to "Monaural" in the Options menu, you get this exclusive addition. . .

Hesitation Marks could have been an EP. That album does what it needs to do in about five tracks.

Watching the episode of TNG where this guy pulls a DOGE. It doesn’t turn out well for him.

There's a man in back of this place. He's the one who's doing it. I can see him through the wall. I can see his face. I hope that I never see that face, ever, outside of a dream.

every Newman's Own product you buy funds a free summer camp for sick and disabled kids who need medical support to have a normal summer camp experience (former camper here.) I will fucking ride for Newman's Own and the ghost of Paul Newman
Newman’s Own stuff rules. Everything is solid quality, the pasta sauce isn’t Rao’s but it’s solidly above Prego, all the ingredients make sense, it goes to charity. This is what rich people should do. Elon is sending his sperm around or some shit and Paul Newman is helping kids from beyond the grave

I went from grinding MGSV for a few hundred hours to playing straight through all of the OG STALKER games, and now Anomaly. I used to hop between games constantly. Now I guess I don’t want variety.

I built a new PC with an ATX case and moved my GPU and RAM in there. What do people do with the empty front sections of ATX cases now that we don’t put drives in there anymore?

Thinking about how electronic music can be so far outside the boundaries of what is conventionally considered music, yet what we’ve come to know as AI-generated art usually tries to hit some commercially-viable average representation of art.

Feels ridiculous to complain about at this point, but I truly believe they’ve lost the plot with the 2025 Minis. They’ve dumped every bit of charm in the hopes of chasing Range Rover owners.

There were multiple MAGA shirts/hats at family thanksgiving this year, where before it was just my dad. Seems like people are taking a victory lap and seizing the opportunity to go mask off.

Americans elected Biden in the midst of crisis. Instead of understanding that, Democrats went back to brunch.

Thought I had more photos of Akiba from when I visited in 2007, but all I found is this photo from when I first came out of the train station. I’ll always remember that habitrail-like building on the left.
