One reason why universities have proven such a soft target for Trump is that they're so often run by idiots.
A University of Buffalo graduate was chased across the stage by police at Sunday's commencement ceremony for carrying a prohibited item while he tried to collect his diploma: a baby.

As a former humanities scholar, I would just like to remind tenured and TT faculty that no US president's admin would be able to pose such a dire threat to the entirety of US higher education without the decades-long erosion of shared governance that accompanied corporatization.
