Please help mags if you can.

She's genuinely so lovely and ive watched her help so many people when they needed it.
My stomach is in knots asking again but I'm coming up to my deadline on Friday to keep a roof over my head. Please boost and thank you for the help I've already received, I feel completely unworthy of the kindness I've found here.

Thank you all so much—we've successfully raised the $15k needed to fund our move! We're raising our goal to $20k to look to saving for some longer-term improvements to the new space.
Also, our last day at the old storefront will be 10/24, with our new location opening 10/31! 🎃

More than 1800 detainees are missing after the closure of Alligator Alcatraz. Their families and lawyers can’t find them and they’ve vanished from the ICE database. Feels like this should be a much bigger story www.miamiherald.com/news/local/i...

Update to this chart that I share a lot. Not breaking news: Game design teams are still OVERWHELMINGLY all men. About 7% of the top 500 games have a woman or non-binary person credited as a designer. A 🧵of related charts: (1/6)

I've seen videos where Graeber uses this example and concludes with, "anarchism is acting as if you are already free" which I think is a really powerful statement.

Zephyr is an anarchist TTRPG where you play as Windfolk, travelling the back of a sentient continent to fulfill sacred, communal obligations. Players use color tokens to track the flow of Zephyr - the substance through which Windfolk see the world and its entities.

"There is still time" is such a strong line- both compassionate & urgent. It says you can still change, still choose compassion—for yourself & others. But “still” carries weight-it reminds us time isn’t infinite. As fascism grows, we must remember: there is still time for kindness, but it is finite.

THE BLACK TTRPG INDUSTRY STARTER PACK!

I've created a starter pack of black voices within the TTRPG space for two reasons. One, for community so black folks can find other like-minded individuals. Two, for visibility & to clearly show that we DO exist.

It's Transgender Awareness Week.

Please be aware of how shitty things are for the trans community and how much worse they're about to get. Don't tell a trans person they're overreacting about how things are going. Support trans people in bad spots. Recognize our value while we're still alive.

People's Pride with Luna Zeidner (This Bike Ride Has No Corporate Sponsors)
We're biking from downtown Minneapolis to Powderhorn Park to talk about People's Pride — the local, laid back, non-corporate alternative to Twin Cities Pride. No police either — they've taken sequeerity into their own hands. It's happening Saturday, June 29 at Powderhorn Park from noon to 4 pm. My guest is one of the event's organizers, Luna Zeidner, who talks about the recent origins of this event as an alternative to the big corporate sponsored Pride festival in Loring Park, how organizers have navigated city permitting and security requirements, and why you should come out and enjoy the event. They're also looking for volunteers and donations. For more information on People's Pride at Powderhorn Park: https://www.mplspeoplespride.com/ Donate to support the event: https://www.gofundme.com/f/877th-support-the-2024-minneapolis-peoples-pride Luna suggests that after People's Pride on Saturday, you can show up downtown on Sunday to participate in the annual Taking Back Pride protest of the police and corporate presence at Twin Cities Pride: https://www.instagram.com/takingbackpride/ As an alternative to protest, John suggest showing up to Loring Park's Pride festival on Sunday to take in the corporate sponsorships and sign up to join the FBI: https://www.fbi.gov We also talk to Luna about how selling her car helped her to afford the purchase of a home, while also getting healthier and more connected to her community; her reaction to downtown scooter outrage; and why it's more important than ever to get involved in the lives of young people.
