What I mean is -- there's not just one investigation, but many now, both in government and outside of it, and that just makes a scandal snowball.

It'll churn up unrelated materials -- think Nixon's tax returns and the "I'm not a crook" spin -- and just keep deepening the sense that they're dirty.

Wonder how much danger he is in tbh.

Looks like Trump will sign the bill to release the Epstein files – perhaps as early as tonight – and then he'll have Bondi insist that they can't release the files because of an "ongoing investigation" that Trump himself ordered.
Senate Republicans were so eager to dispense with the Epstein measure that they agreed with Schumer to declare it passed by unanimous consent--even though it has not formally been sent over by the House yet. It may land on Trump's desk tonight.

The ONLY other person that knows what may be left out of those documents is the one they fired prior to that interview with Ghislaine. And that is Maureen Comey, who’s currently one ruling closer of getting her job back with the DOJ for being wrongfully terminated.

Trump is going to sign it but now the DOJ is going to w/hold #Espstein docs they want to block from being released by pointing to ongoing active investigation (of Democrats ofc)
! Chuck @schumer.senate.gov asks unanimous consent that the Senate immediately read and pass the bill to release the Epstein files, un-amended, "as soon as it comes over from the House." No objections. Motion succeeds. Bill is deemed to the Senate unanimously, will go to Trump to become law.

Trump is a depraved sadist who is blowing-up people in the Caribbean and kidnapping/beating/detaining men women and children. To him killing and dismembering a journalist is just a little kerfuffle.

Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Trump says House Republicans should vote to release Epstein files, a startling reversal after previously fighting the proposal.

This means he has the Senator's in his pocket and the files will never see the light of day!

But, also gives Trump the out that he was for the release!

Why didn't Pam Bondi investigate Jeffrey Epstein when she was Florida’s AG from 2011 to 2019?! As Florida's AG, Bondi made prosecuting sex traffickers who preyed on children a top priority. Yet for some reason she never investigated Epstein. My article: deanobeidallah.substack.com/p/we-need-to...
