26 Anglican bishops sit in the Lords. Not a Catholic, Moslem, Hindu, Methodist or Presbyterian amongst them . This archaic structure is an insult to us all . Get them out. They do not even prevent child abuse in their churches , why should we respect their place as lawmakers ?

UK public has paid £200bn to shareholders of key industries since privatisation.

In public ownership that would have gone into infrastructure, lower bills.

Privatisation delivered low investment, high bills, no tax on dividends to foreign investors.

No end to nightmare without public ownership.

The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.

Leaks and sewage dumping will continue for years.

£20bn+debt. A third of the bill covers interest payments.

Captive customers have no choice.

End the scam. Nationalise water.

It may be a long wait.

All rightwing policies.

that👆shit.

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

Here we have it. Tories failed during COVID as they did “too little, too late” leading to thousands more deaths.

23,000 lives could of been saved during the first wave & trips taken by Tory MP’s such as Dominic Cummings to Barnard Castle increased risk of people deciding not to follow the rules.
Covid inquiry live updates: UK did 'too little, too late', leading to thousands more Covid deaths, says inquiry
The inquiry says an earlier lockdown could have saved 23,000 lives in the first wave in England - and lockdown could have been avoided altogether with earlier interventions.
