I'm a combat veteran. I know combat veterans and plenty of veterans who never saw combat but live with physical and emotional wounds from their time in the military. This will kill veterans. Benefits are a lifeline for many. Call your reps. Also fuck ICE and abolish DHS.

@democrats-veterans.house.gov do something about this shameful new benefits policy. Veterans will stop taking meds or receiving treatment and will lead worse lives as a result. Or just kill themselves. Glad I almost died for my country to see it spit in my face.

We should also talk more about how too many Republicans do not see entire swaths of people as actual people. You don’t casually muse about starting a war if you see troops as humans with lives and families. Normal people don’t fantasize about those from other countries dying for their own amusement.
