I dunno man I just kind of think if a billionaire spends 200 billion dollars on the metaverse and no one likes it and it fails he should actually have less money than when he started, but yeah I guess that’s like taking Zucks food stamps away and what not
Does anyone here have an answer?
How much should the wealthy pay? Should they be taxed out of existence and into poverty? What IS their fair share? After taxing all of the wealth away, what then? After the billionaires and millionaires are gone, who pays then?

Absolutely bonkers that pachinko represents almost 4% of Japan's GDP despite gambling being illegal

All change is hard, but forgive me if I'm not overflowing with sympathy for these New Yorkers complaining about having to put trash in bins rather than plastic bag curbside rat buffets:

People were calling the shooter a folk hero as soon as they found out who the victim was, as nothing was known about the shooter.

Weaponizing the reality that white killers are treated differently by the media this way is a pathetic attempt to distract from the conversation around health insurance

Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh caused a shitstorm over their responses to the murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare.

Both slammed with dislikes and negative comments from their viewers and others.

This is why the right prefers culture war over class war.

Okay, we’re all extremely angry. So now what? It’s a serious question. I’m not an organizer and lack the skill-set to be one, but I’m curious what leading activists are saying about the right way forward now.

Reminder Superman is not a power fantasy, he's an altruism fantasy.

The idea of someone with godlike powers using them solely for good (with an antagonist who is a billionaire, who by definition do the opposite) was dreamt up by Jewish kids in the 30s and its just as if not more relevant now.

Confirmed: every time you use the phrase "President Musk" an angel gets its wings, Donald Trump turns one Behr-Scale shade more orange, and his heart shrinks an additional 5%, Grinch-style.

So please use this highly accurate moniker liberally.
The “President Musk” rhetoric gained steam among Democrats after the billionaire helped kill the continuing resolution to keep the government open, voicing his opposition long before the president-elect did.
