Let's learn about the Wonky Wolf of Leeds.

Discovered 1840 in Aldborough, North Yorkshire, the mosaic dates to ~300 AD & probably represents a Roman provincial artist's attempt to tell the story of Romulus and Remus being suckled by a she-wolf, the founding myth of Rome.
A mosaic of a tree, a black wolf (badly drawn, with no detail in the face besides a smile and two round white eyes) and two babies with black faces and orange bodies that look like something from an 80's arcade game: pixelated and crude.

You are looking at two fish. See them?

These are 'hairy frogfish' (Antennarius striatus), native to Indo-Pacific & Atlantic regions. They're the most bizarre member of a very weird family.

The dermal spinules ('hair') make it look like a bit of seaweed or a sea sponge.

A beanie with an appliqué and embroidery Elvis worm. The scales are only stitched down where they overlap so they ends are loose along it more 3D. The scale fabric is a blue purple holographic fabric with a lot of sheen. There is white fluffy material stitched down for the bristles.
