Happy Saturday😊 These images are of a Steller Sea Lion😍 They are named after Georg Wilhelm Steller, a German naturalist on who first described and wrote about the species in 1742. Steller Sea Lions can reach up to 11 feet and 2500 lbs.

Happy #throwbackthursday 😊 3 years ago on Nov20, we had a phenomenal day exploring the Salish Sea 🌊 We encountered over 30 active Humpbacks including breaching and lots of lunge feeding 🐋 As if watching over 30 Humpbacks was not enough we also encountered T49c 🙂

Happy Saturday😊 Here is a short video of a few rambunctious Sea Lions at Race Rocks😍 Race Rocks is one of the favourite haul outs for Sea Lions in the Salish Sea. We get both California and the larger Steller Sea Lions (up to 11' & 2500lbs) at Race each year from later July to mid March🥰

Happy Monday 😊 Yesterday we had our final tour of the regular season and encountered several Humpbacks😍 The Humpbacks included Racoon and at least two other Humpback Whales🐋🥰 We also saw lots of Seals and Sea Lions at Race!
