My front yard is a series of raised vegetable beds. It's wonderful. All the green, all the veggies and strangers stopping to talk, wonder and ask questions.
An urban front yard with 10+ raised garden beds in early spring. Some of the beds have arched trellises for vertical growing. The planting is done, but everything is still quite small. The same beds much later in the summer. A horizontal trellis structure has been added to the tomato beds at top right allowing them and the squash to travel horizontally once they reach the top of the vertical supports. All the plants are lush, overflowing the beds
