There’s always too much to be done. We (academics) most always get through it though, right? If I can just remember that the amount of anxiety I feel is independent of how much needs to get done or even gets done, it’s easier to roll with it.

If you work with US Census data, this and #tidycensus from @kylewalker.bsky.social are the only way you should be doing it, imo. I stopped using DataFerrett and the Census data website around 2016/17 because #tidycensus is amazing!
The first commit for the #rstats {tigris} package was 10 (!) years ago, and the package is still going strong.

tigris gets geographic data from the US Census Bureau into R for you -- often in a single line of code.

As tigris turns 10, let's review what it can do:
