The Gunpla market was approximately ¥153.5 billion last year. Given the 1:144 scale of the average model we have objective proof of a 22.10400 trillion ¥ or approx. 142.858152 billion U.S. dollar industry. Sharks what I'm proposing here today...

“Glonzo is real and was standing behind literally everything everywhere on earth that you hate” sucks actually.
That feeling when you, a terrorism and extremism scholar, see documentary evidence that shows moot met with Jeffery Epstein on the same day /pol was launched:

One of the greatest musical / acting performances of all time.. and it was for an Oscar telecast.
Catherine O'Hara & Eugene Levy performing "A Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow" from A MIGHTY WIND at the 2004 Oscars🌈💔

I have never worried about a world without Catherine O'Hara before today and I'm not enjoying suddenly having to grapple with it as a reality.

Genuinely impressive that Chris Rufo is so stupid that even granting him this straw man his argument still doesn’t make sense on its own terms. How is getting soft dommed politically the end state of brunch? How is the behavior described in any way related to 50 shades? A noun, a verb, and gender.
I don’t know what I expected when I saw that Chris Rufo was taking on the “fascism canard” but lol

A thing I really liked in One Battle After Another is that all the opsec password/codename stuff is idiotic farce that doesn't seem to prevent the government from learning anything and the actually functional movement just accepts the government will ID you if it decides to and works around that.
I think a better statement is anonymity is really counterproductive for social movements. You're adding friction to participation for vanishingly little security benefit while undermining the rhetorical power of showing trusted neighbors and leaders out resisting tyrannical government overreach.
I'm really uncomfortable with broad brush statements about things like anonymity. The answer is always "it depends" and you have to interrogate other evidence to determine whether hiding one's identity is out of legitimate fears or due to criminal intent.

understanding how things work is important. understanding the consequences of our choices is important. knowing why things *don't* or *can't* work is important. knowing how to set realistic expectations and deliver on them is important. all of this is important everywhere, not just in politics.

They should reinstate Stancil because that’s a stupid reason to try to ditch him and but also it’s extremely funny that even in the realest of real world scenarios of person to person trust networks the conflict is that he’s too much of a poster and people are big mad about it.

The new “checkmate shitlibs” of “actually we don’t need our congressional reps to pass laws if they knew about real leadership” is fully making me lose my mind. If you don’t need to pass laws you don’t need Chuck Schumer AT ALL just sidestep him entirely in your secret master plan to fix everything.

Guys do you have any idea how brain poisoned this place has to be for me to plan to deactivate on the same day you’re finally allowed to dunk on Darren Aronofsky without summoning 30 dudes with film podcasts?

I love that this is clearly them releasing the photos of people they arrested they think will look "scary" to their audience and to anybody normal these all look like the cover to an album Pitchfork's about to give an 8.6/10
I'm starting to think the Trumpist mastery of propaganda is failing them. The DHS agents posing this way makes it look like they're ashamed of themselves.

I basically agree that it’s pointless to try to put the put the genie back in the bottle here but if your POV is that legislation is just jacking off I’m not really sure what you’re looking for out of, you know, legislators.
What’s the point of legislative reforms when (1) the administration refuses to follow the law and (2) the Supreme Court‘s obedient majority consistently prevents lower courts from enforcing the law against the administration?

Seems masturbatory.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

God, I miss boring.
