It’s crucial that networks with Sunday morning shows not let Republicans lie about what happened today. Interrupt them, cut their mics, cut away. It’s reckless and inaccurate to let them spin a murder. The video is clear. I don’t expect this to happen, but the journalistic imperative is clear.

My personal wish for 2026: make sure Kristi Noem goes down in history as the worst Presidential Appointee of all time, responsible for the Congressional rescission of over 100 Billion Dollars in funding. #coreysrighthand #maralagoface

🚨 NEW — Statement from the family of Alex Pretti:

"We are heartbroken but also very angry.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital... 1/

They are gunning people down in the street. Kidnapping children from their parents. Kicking in doors with no warrants. All this from a Party who preach from the holy altar of the 2A. Who espouse parents rights over schools/doctors/govt. Who endorse the Castle Doctrine. Murderous hypocrisy.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

I’m curious how the spineless Democrats who voted to continue funding ICE are feeling today? No takebacksies…

This is courage. Looking a masked, government fascist dead in the eye, face to face, knowing full well that your life is on the line.

If elected officials had 1/10th of Alex Pretti's resolve, we would have far fewer troubles.

Watching this old man take a water bottle and slowly walk into a mist of tear gas is going to stay with me. Everything they do to make people scared empowers them all the more.

What Trump said about allied soldiers is nothing new. He’s always been envious of people who had courage because he has always been a coward. Demeaned McCain & POWs, Gen Kelly confirmed he called DDay KIA troops “suckers & losers”, said he always wanted to “win” a Purple Heart.

This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

Okay as someone who has been tear gassed in a confined space with no windows or protective gear as part of my job, this is absolutely jaw-droppingly dangerous.

This is what you'd do in a self defence situation, where your life depended upon this action.

This is nothing short of torture.

I suspect 9 of 10 Americans are unaware that the Hmong are here because they aided the US in the Vietnam war, and then had to flee as refugees afterwards. Quite the “thank you” we’re giving them 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
