Picked up something that I was told was a Chinese pear in Khmer, and it looked like a light green bumpy pear. It was not fruit-like at all, and I ended up tossing it into a stir-fry. Just did an image search and it turns out it was Chayote!

My housemate is making preserved lemon (limes)! They went from green to bright yellow when he parboiled them, then turned a mottled beige after drying off in the sun. They then got packed with rock salt in jars which were then filled with water. They'll sun a few months before they're ready to eat.

Tapping the sign again. The term "AI" in the way we've traditionally used it to mean "computer-controlled characters" has been poisoned and it suuucks. I'm very specialized in game "AI" and it is an entirely different thing from trained/learning AI models.
Gonna start referring to enemy character behavior in games as "enemy character behavior in games" because the term "AI" sucks now.

I and a co-worker got deep into #tea in the mid 2000's. Totally forgot that I packed a couple bricks acquired back then. Decided to break them out and share with my son, now he's getting deep into #tea lore and infodumping everything he learns about it.😀

Two ventures I was involved in ceased (non payment by USAID & founder medical emergency), so I'm brushing up on technical interview skills. After an hour trying to solve a simple problem on a platform, I realized it supported #cpp 17 while I was in a #cpp 2x headspace.
