Absolutely no way to read this and not conclude that the Department of Justice has been deeply corrupted. And this is from a time when career lawyers were in place, pushing back against illegality. With firings and resignations, the politicization will just get worse.

Seeing IP based game announcements these days are a rollercoaster of highs and lows. High? Thundercats! Low? 5e conversion. It's not the worst choice, but it's certainly one that won't support the scope/stakes/types of adventures seen in the original show with ease.

They wiped out nearly every longstanding grant, fired the independent scholars who ensure integrity in the review process, and gutted the staff needed to run the NEH.

And once those guardrails were removed, they rammed through enormous handpicked awards that avoided any real scrutiny.
