A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a propagandatechnique. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, about the use of a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously"

Call it what it really is: a concentration camp.

"A modern-day concentration camp ... People have been killed by the staff here." Irish citizen Seamus Culleton has been in ICE detention since September, despite having a valid work permit and his own business in the US.

We strongly oppose DHS's plan to turn a warehouse near Hagerstown into a 1,500-person ICE detention center.

Today, I joined Senator Van Hollen and Senator Alsobrooks in pressing the Washington County Board of County Commissioners for answers.

Here's what DHS doesn't want you to know: Working for ICE is one of the safest jobs in America — and last year was the second-safest year for the agency on record.

And the doxxing? It hasn't actually happened even once.

The masks are justified by a lie. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/ice-s-mask...

We are just like you. We were called to serve our communities and answered that call. You can, too.

You are not alone — so act together. Community action will save the day.

To bring transparency to #ICE’s massive detention expansion, they developed the #warehousetracker. This tool provides a central hub for tracking specific properties under federal consideration, providing insights into address information, ownership, detailed building specifications, etc.

This needs to be on the front of our minds.

Eichmann was head of emigration of Jews, which the Nazis encouraged through violence and economic pressure. At the Wannsee Conference Eichmann and his staff became responsible for Jewish deportations to extermination camps, where the victims were gassed.

Tom Homan’s PR “drawdown” doesn’t change the reality on the ground—over 2,000 federal agents still flooding Minneapolis after shootings, mass arrests, and legal observers targeted. Swapping out Bovino was optics; the crackdown never stopped.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

These are the kinds of cases Tom Homan means when he says they’re prioritizing targeting people with “criminal records”
*Green card application in process and work permit, married to US citizen
*Lived in US for 20 years, no criminal record
*In detention for five months with no charge, despite judge approving release
*He disputes ICE claim that he signed forms agreeing to deportation
And here is my story: ‘Absolute hell’: Irishman with valid US work permit held by Ice since September

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵
