I was just on a Zoom with someone I was meeting for the first time. We scheduled a follow-up call for next week, and as we signed off she casually said, “Great. See you next Tuesday,” and it took every ounce of my soul not to bust out laughing. I’m an adult.

I support the 2nd Amendment and common sense gun laws, but the next Democrat elected president should revoke the 2A entirely, because at this point it’s pretty fucking clear nobody is going to rise up and fight tyranny, so we should just quit the cosplay and save a bunch of American lives.

First and foremost, authoritarians are thieves.
Many Venezuelan-Americans were initially euphoric thinking Trump was liberating Venezuela from Maduro. Now, especially with Trump unceremoniously kicking Machado to the curb, they realize he only intended to liberate them from their assets and resources.
