So many people are self sabotaging by deskilling via this nonsense right now. Want an edge in 2027? Don’t build reliance on bad tools into your process in 2025.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

It was always true, but now fully undeniable that their principle role is to take up space and prevent a viable and actual party to the left gaining a foothold. You know, radical leftists ideas like opposing genocide and leaving trans people alone for a bit.

Everyone in uk politics gestures to the left of their actual position (tories dress as centrists, labour dress as the left, Lib Dems run around in circles hoping someone will love them) but labour has absolutely dropped the last shred of pretence, impossible to turn a blind eye to it. Suicidal.
Labour's strategy since the election seems designed to appeal to right-conservative voters.

This strategy hasn't worked on its own terms because they have lost the (very few) right-wing voters that they had, while also losing (much) larger numbers of left-wing voters.

starmer is doing all the anti-immigrant and anti-trans "popularism" stuff the centrists are demanding US dems do and this is the predictable result:
The government's net approval rating has fallen to -59, Labour's lowest score to date

Approve: 11% (-2 from 23-25 August)
Disapprove: 70% (+3)
Net: -59 (-5)

Rowling could've lived in her castle and tweeted "Hagrid wants you to brush your teeth and have a happy St. Swithin's Day!" a few times a year and HP would've had the same legacy as Pooh or Middle-earth, but she consciously chose Evil For Evil's Sake like a badly written children's fantasy villain
So I had a walk around the very crowded exhibit hall at FanExpo Boston. There is, as expected, sooooo much cosplay. Star Wars, One Piece, Walking Dead, Disney, superheroes. You name it. Which makes it notable what is missing. Haven’t seen a single Harry Potter robe, tie, or wand.

My sister THE MAYOR OF BERKELEY hosted our family reunion so I made a shirt to explain my role in our familial unit.
See:
-The mayor gave a chartered bus tour of her city, then helped cook breakfast for 50 people while on a zoom.
-I found a decomposing wild turkey carcass & poked it with a stick.
