If you missed the Magic U Kickstarter, I'm still taking pre-orders until the book goes to press! (in about 3 weeks?) I have set up a page in Shopify so you have your choice of payment and shipping options: s52xfr-ee.myshopify....
I should’ve gone to sleep an hour and a half ago but instead I just read a long article and the entire Wikipedia page about the Edmund Fitzgerald.

A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

Adding to my list of Reasons Why Chuck Schumer Needs To Resign: That he even SAT DOWN in a room with these motherfuckers who were proudly displaying this unconstitutional nonsense in front of him. You see that hat, Chuck, you walk out and say why.
I heard from a bunch of federal employees last night and this morning. They aren't happy.

This is a good decision. The 2002 backlash against MHT/HRT happened because the public, much of the media & even some doctors don't grasp the difference between relative & absolute risk. A percentage change may seem substantial, but you need to look at the actual numbers.

Though Trump’s pardons can’t extend to state crimes, I think it’s worth pointing out the message being conveyed:

Trump’s allies are alleged to have stolen data from state voting systems in an effort to help him overturn an election he lost.

Now he’s pardoning them for it.

bsky.app/profile/anna...
News coverage of this has focused on the pardon of those involved in the fake electors plot.

But the pardon also extends to key figures who participated in the unauthorized breach of voting systems in Coffee County, Georgia

Anyway I hadn't heard anyone talking about this, so I guess I'm gonna talk about it. Spread the word if you're thinking about doing an nsfw KS project, Stripe apparently might pull your funding at literally any step of the process, with zero warning!

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

This is a great discussion. Most public conversations look at porn as a necessary evil that we have to put up with for the sake of free speech. In fact, it's vital to include sexuality in all its forms as part of our free speech.
So grateful for this conversation. Timely topics on age verification, freedom of speech... and why it matters, has value, and is worth defending. Thank you @adamconover.net @siridahl.com & Noelle Perdue!

Republicans repeated Trump's anti-trans strategy from 2024 and lost big. This should be instructive for Democrats.
