Maybe you think 'it will take decades' or 'they won't want us back' or 'petitions don't work', but if you believe deep down that our future lies within our closest trading block why not sign this anyway! You never know. If you don't ask you don't get. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
Petition: Apply for the UK to join the European Union as a full member as soon as possible
I believe joining the EU would boost the economy, increase global influence, improve collaboration and provide stability & freedom. I believe that Brexit hasn't brought any tangible benefit and there ...

The faster we #Breturn, the better for all of us. The economy would benefit; there would be more opportunities for growth; and freedom of movement would benefit Britons as well as Europeans.

I don't want a 'musicians mobility scheme'. In all honesty I don't even want a 'youth mobility scheme'. what I want is #Breturn and I want Brits to get behind this instead of cherry picking this and that.
Next, let's have the musicians mobility scheme, aa it's completely screwed our industry!!! Or better still, can we just admit that Brexit is and always was a stupid idea and get rid of it!

Donald Tusk just expressed his hopes for a #Breturn. If you'd also like this to happen why not sign/share this petition. It can't do any harm to officially express our wishes and hopefully swing a debate. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...

What makes me most disgusted, even more than the dolts who voted for Brexit, is the self-immolating apologists who screech that it will take us 50 years and Starmer can't disown Brexit because newspapers.

Those people make me sick.

There's a simple solution to both.

But Starmer and Reeves appear dead set against it.

Absolutely this. It is extraordinary how these countless ‘tiny Brexits’ still go unrecorded & unreported.
👇 Being outside the single market is worse for the UK economy, but I think being outside the customs union is more significant in terms of driving and reinforcing the (IMO correct) belief among a majority of Brits than Brexit was a mistake because it causes a thousand tiny Brexits every day.

If Brexit was in any way good or had worked, no one, not even the most ardent and paranoid Brexiter, would be worried about its future because it would already be assured. They are only panicking now because it has so evidently failed.

Labour's getting on with the job of replacing the HoL with an elected second chamber by... appointing 30 more Lords?!*

Problem is, that sends entirely the wrong message to anyone who's unconvinced that Labour will definitely go through with said reform.

(*Rebalancing, blah blah blah. I get it.)

. @adrianramsay.bsky.social on what genuine devolution *should* mean. And it's not Labour's top-down "devolution our way, like it or not" - centralist control-freakery that will take power *further* from local communities.

This is going down like a bucket of cold sick in #Cornwall.
