we have got to destroy ICE and salt the earth

I will not vote for any federal candidate who doesn’t vow to abolish ICE

I will not vote for any state or local candidate who doesn’t agree to fight ICE

When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

every time a prominent man is revealed to be a horrible abusive freak they put out a statement being like "I hope, over time, I may rebuild the trust I have lost" and just once I would love for them to say "I'm sixty years old and a multimillionaire, you never have to hear about me again."

Never a regime-change war that bedbug Bret Stephens wasn't a fan of.

A for-profit "media-elite" clamoring for wars they won't be fighting and won't be impacted by on the ground.

Truly disgusting.

A newly elected Pennsylvania sheriff vows to end an ICE contract, telling Bolts, “What I can do is prevent the 17 deputies who were trained to be de facto ICE agents from doing that work.”

A populous swing county replaced its GOP sheriff on Tuesday after months of controversy over his joining ICE’s 287(g) program. The Democratic winner promises he’ll end the contract.

Why are my posts so expensive?

1) maintaining a studio for draping (flou) & a studio for tailoring (tailleur)

2) all emeralds ethically sourced

3) trips to the Bodleian

4) hand-stitching on bias cut point d’esprit

5) the exorbitant cost of eel

6) knife skills/braising

Hope that helps.

Tanya is one of the kindest, realest humans I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She's helped me countless times, and I've seen her others more times than I can count. If she's asking, the need is REAL. Please donate if you can
So I did the thing after some encouragement to update the goal. Not fussed if we don't hit it, but that cushion would make the next 3 -4 months much easier since job hunting is... demoralizing at best.

Hopefully no one sees this as greedy, or milking folks who want to help out. gofund.me/68950306a

“she flamed out and faded away” is such funny framing for a woman publishing an excerpt of her book in vanity fair, where she also works. I wish I could flame out and fade away so successfully
Vanity Fair's West Coast Editor Olivia Nuzzi was a star political correspondent until scandal led her into exile—and to a California up in flames.

In an excerpt from her book, ‘American Canto,’ she takes stock of scorched earth.

When I was a child I was a precocious writer, constantly starting novels (and quitting after a few pages) and forcing my parents to read them. Years later, they let me in on a joke (that still stands!) about my word choice. “‘Shut up,’ he enquired,” is our shorthand for pretentious blather. ⬇️
