It's funny that they blamed the awesome poster and not, you know, the bad movie.
The iconic art deco movie poster designed by John Mattos was cited by Disney as a key issue in the marketing for THE ROCKETEER (1991) as it was a mysterious image that didn’t showcase the cast enough. Funny enough, this is exactly what made me want to see the film originally.

My favorite aspect of the Columbus legend is him getting rejected by the Portuguese gets spun as them not recognizing the genius of his idea. No - he went into a roomful of expert navigators and made basic math mistakes, they thought he was a moron, and they wouldn't fund his idea on that basis.

i think if i could remake fallout 3, i'd make the environment much less brown and industrial and much more wet and green—similar to how the city was before the modern age.

I totally get the sentiment and I can only speak to my own experience, but all I've been hearing as a writer for the past 10 years or so is that creating villains with any nuance is at best So Over and at worst running interference for real-life fascists.
I'll say it: I think its rly annoying and frankly amateurish that writers are constantly told their villains must be understandable or have sympathetic motivation to be interesting or realistic when all our big villains irl are in fact rich, stupid, selfish, trickster dillweeds and always have been

i get kind of annoyed that the political compass has caused a lot of people to view liberalism, conservatism, etc as a gradient that you can move “four left and two up” instead of as a series of distinct political philosophies with their own unique assumptions about the world and its ideal state

Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It must be stopped.

Goes hand in hand with the fact that fanservice and sexy armor were never the problem on their own, but that they've been used—whether devs intend it or not—to create a reactionary's idealized gender framework. That's what we broke and why they won't just go play a porn game.
others have pointed it out, but it really isn't about horniness

it's about exclusion - they think that this will scare off the wokes. Because they're fucking stupid.

Also, for the people that invented the guillotine, this is real disappointing on quite a few levels.
