I think this is the culture of liberal procedural democracy in general. We are explicitly trained to believe our job is to choose public servants and they plus existing law will take care of the rest. It's not accidental, of course. It's supposed to make us helpless.

Always cool to see obscure #StarWars aliens get some love. These particular red-furred starfish-shaped beings only ever appeared in Twin Stars of Kira (1993), although they were also namedropped in Stories of Jedi and Sith (2022).

It's always been fun watching fans try to reconcile how the boxy interior of the Falcon makes sense within the disc-shaped exterior, to say nothing of how the interior sets could never fit within that exterior (especially how how thin the Falcon's circular body gets near it's tapered edges).
