Yikes. Get those ballots in folks! kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elec...
Voter turnout for the Seattle-area primary elections is currently sitting at just 22.4%. King County Elections projects that it could reach 35%, meaning almost two thirds of voters countywide will not participate. Currently, boomers are out voting Gen Z about 4 to 1. Drop boxes close in 3 hours.

As corporate media bows to Trump, public broadcasting has never been more important to our democracy.

Public radio stations reach 98% of Americans. If they close, millions lose access to critical news.

Trump is trying to control not just what we do, but what we know. Be warned.

BREAKING: Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars tried to snatch 1st graders from LA elementary schools—told staff they had “parental consent.”

They lied. When pressed, they HID THEIR IDS. DHS admits they sent them. This wasn’t a welfare check. It was a test run for a police state.

Every book published in the United States is sent to the Library of Congress. Also, if you are under 16 you cannot use the reading room or order books.
Reporter: The president fired the Librarian of Congress. Why?

Leavitt: There were quite concerning things she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and putting inappropriate books in the library for children.

Oligarchy (noun):

A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.

I love how Trump is causing my kids’ 529s to lose money, while at the same time Trump is making borrowing for college harder and more expensive. It’s super cool. #MomSky

BREAKING: Senate just UNANIMOUSLY restored $1.1 billion for DC local govt that was eliminated

Why?

Because Senators of BOTH parties work in DC - and most have homes there - and none of them want to be in a hellhole

Now - try applying that same logic to THE REST OF THE COUNTRY

📌NOTE: Immediately after the vile attack on Zelensky by Putin's puppets Friday, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries should have called a joint press conference and explained to the American public the significance, heinousness and danger of that sickening surrender.

📌They should STILL be talking now.

If Trump and the GOP extend their 2017 tax cuts, the top 1% will make out like bandits — taking home an extra $165 per day.

But the bottom 60% will get shafted — getting only an extra $1.10 per day in exchange for massive cuts to Medicaid and SNAP.

It's reverse Robin Hood.

3 things about this message that greeted millions of Americans on TikTok today:

1) the shamelessness of Trump who just U-turned on his opposition to TikTok.
2) the shamelessness of these tech companies, sucking up to Trump.
3) the fecklessness of Biden who gave Trump this win.
