Clearly the only solution is for AI to redistrict the US into 50 equivalent economic, urban/rural & red/blue, not necessarily contiguous, states. Some wld be combined (Massasippi, Wyohio). Some divided (Northern-, Southern- Los Angeles- and the Restacalifornia). It's just science.
Well, the reason that Kansas, for example, was able to reinstate abortion rights is because it's a separate state whose voters don't have to do what Texas and Florida want, and its voters are not merely all milled in with millions of other voters, but hey, whatever
It's like a slippery slope into awesomeness.
Seriously though. If you believe in representative democracy why wouldn't you want that representation to be as equitable as possible? What is served by having a legislative body where 600k people have as much power as 50 million people?

Kinda want to boycott Apple because Tim Cook attended dinner in honor of Kashoggi's murderer, but every piece of tech I own is Apple. I know Cook deems it his responsibility to expand Apple's marketplace and serve its stockholders and its brand, above all things. Is there middle ground?

This life epectancy stat is bogus. American LE is low becuz of obese junk foodies, drug abuse, anti-vaxxers, pple who don't or can't go 2 docs or take care of themselves-it brings average down. Correct for that, and US expectancy is 87-89 yrs, higher than Monaco, ie the longest LE country in world.
