All my life people have thought my eyes were brown, instead of this lovely toxic algae sludge hazel. For ease of ID at airport passport control, on my passport renewal form I guess I'll continue with the brown ruse.

Have a cold & am watching Love in the Clouds. As usual, I FF through subplots & repetitive scenes, & focus on characters I like. Haven't seen so many young men who look like anime or manga characters come to life, or maybe they're all AI creations, b4. There were 2 in LBFAD but LITC has 4 & counting

Why...How...When...did the NY Times start using so many Interrogatives as Headlines?

"Anthony" is a great Trump meme.

I love that a Talking Points Memo headline says that Trump has moved into full "Twilight Zone 'Anthony' Phase." Here's a candid of Anthony taken while he's applying his orange make-up.

Love this. Stephen Fry is playing Lady Bracknell in a London production. Though Edith Evans will always BE Lady Bracknell, she's amazing. Also amazing: how few queer people have seen, or heard of, this seminal queer work.

To me this is duh. Also I love Dolly's IWALY. Houston's is impressive but a bit exhausting, like an athletic competition.

Diane Keaton has died. I loved her unique, naturalistic comic acting since "Love and Death." I thought she was still young. Well - she was still young. RIP. Photo: 2022.

Gotta love the way Yibo's doing his hair.
October 10, 2025 at 7:42 PM
I didn't know what form it'd take, but I figured Yibo would again wear smthng bright, baggy, loose & blousy 4 Loewe. He tends to favor loose unbuttoned shirts over Ts, hoodies, blazers, jackets of any kind. Maybe he thinks he's too skinny, or maybe he just loves the way clothes drape on his frame.

I picture Yibo working the top featured in the left-hand photo, and in the bottoms of the right hand one.

Happy Silent Movie Day! Post an image from one of your favorite silent movies. -- This is the first movie I ever showed my kids, when they were about 4 and 5. It was magically funny and sweet.

Featured food-book review (sounds like a good one, but any take on food from a Brit is automatically suspect to lovers of flavor) in the NY Times today, w/ this photo. They don't identify what it is. I'm going with ginger-molasses cookie topped with barbeque sauce and chocolate cake.
