I joined my first @twigandtale.bsky.social Sew + Show for the Leaf Hip Pouch! I was gifted the pattern as part of the group and made this lovely Kawakawa leaf flap version - got Mum to model for me in the rain and I love how it turned out. It's a quick and cute sew :)

OK, fine.

In that case, the govt must take the position that they cannot and will not have different prices for carbon for pretty much every other business in New Zealand, & the dairy industry. Time for them to pay full price for methane emmissions. That would be a truly commercial approach #nzpol

👋from Australia. We're finding that sheep grazed on solar fields have more weight and wool as the grass grows better and they shelter under those panels rather than being in the open air, like nobody's business.

Bluesky sewists - can anyone tell me what the issue is here? I was trying to do a hem in knit fabric and it was doing random long stitches so I switched to a twin needle as I wondered if my needle was blunt and the twin gives me one line of good stitches and one bad - and the back is a mess!
