Last year, Enel (X Way) was fined for applying 'margin squeeze', charging other charging app providers higher prices then their own, making it impossible to provide a similar roaming offering as Enel was providing:
Enel X/Enel X Way, Italy’s dominant EV charging point operator, has been fined €2.3 million for obstructing MSP competition. For example, it has impeded other EV charging apps from offering equal pricing compared to its own.

My sense is that China is using this oldie but goodie @rockymountviews.bsky.social playbook to destroy global oil demand. With subsidized EV technology, China can help 50+ emerging markets destroy 3-4 million barrels per day of oil demand by 2030.
