I joined my first @twigandtale.bsky.social Sew + Show for the Leaf Hip Pouch! I was gifted the pattern as part of the group and made this lovely Kawakawa leaf flap version - got Mum to model for me in the rain and I love how it turned out. It's a quick and cute sew :)

I’ve been having a lot of fun learning new sewing this year (thanks indie pattern designers with great instructions!!!) and making things for friends’ kids

Bluesky sewists - can anyone tell me what the issue is here? I was trying to do a hem in knit fabric and it was doing random long stitches so I switched to a twin needle as I wondered if my needle was blunt and the twin gives me one line of good stitches and one bad - and the back is a mess!
