All MPs can vote whichever way they like.
They *choose* to toe the party line on most instances, meaning
" ... I cannot vote other than along party lines"
is really
" ... I am only here to follow orders".

Once we know exactly how many billions were stolen from the Pay Equity Fund nothing else matters. Not if it was moved to education, or police, or health - they had to pay for all of those things anyway, they didn't have to pay for them of the backs of women #NZPol
