I’ll tell you what fundamentally bothers me about this new Road House movie. I know they made Dalton an ex-MMA fighter because they were like, “it doesn’t make sense a bouncer would be famous.” And the moment they said “it doesn’t make sense” they had NO BUSINESS making a Road House movie.

X-Men is a great metaphor for the queer community, because it encapsulates the joy of discovering your community, the awkwardness of realizing your community is packed w/ horny weirdoes, and the dread of your community being divided in blood feuds over bad breakups & minor differences in philosophy.
