Corporate Media will ignore this as Trump being Trump, but we need to stop them from normalizing & obfuscating fact that Trump is *insane* and calling for murder of Democrats. This is not normal, this cannot be ignored, he is US President and his words must be treated seriously & literally.

Zohran is stone cold man. Putting out an ad in Arabic after all the Islamophobic shit that’s been thrown his way? Pure swag.

Dems don’t need to copy his politics or even necessarily his campaign strategy, they need to learn how to grow a fucking spine.

I had a TV in my bedroom in high school. Freshman year, we had basketball practice at 5:30 am. Nearly every morning, on my TV, I watched the video for Cornershop’s “Brimful of Asha.” Somehow, that’s a core memory

Many reasons this is a wild assertion, though it needs to also be noted that “Waiting for a Star to Fall” and “
She Drives Me Crazy” are exceptional bops I worry will be lost to history.
People need to stop retconning literally the worst era in American popular music history into something it wasn't, just because there were also some amazing records that like 250 people happened to be hunting down and listening to

Problem is, you can do this for any year and make the same claim. That's Billboard Madness. You can't take an era and distill it down to the hot 100, it's not indicative of the vibe as a whole. This is a discourse poisoned lens on culture, making everything a binary win/lose game.

If you, like me, know very little of any language other than English and you only listen to music sung in English in 2025, you’re missing out on a crazy amount of great music. Bewildering. Now is as great a time as any to say “I don’t need to understand the words to love it”

A lot of centrist commentators who genuinely got worked up about the unforgivably insulting nature of "cling to guns and religion" or "basket of deplorables" are weirdly silent about Trump portraying himself as literally shitting on American cities

“Deplorables” was a scandal for years and she wasn’t even in the government yet. This is the White House Press Secretary, whose salary is paid by the American public.

The substance of what she's saying is bad and unconvincing, but more fundamentally, I really don't think Supreme Court justices should be going on book tours where they publicly comment on their work and respond to criticism of it. Either put it in a written opinion or hold your peace.

"enshrined a tradition" is an incredible feat of weasel wording, my man. if you had an explicit mandate to confuse the question of the Trump coin's legality you could hardly do better
It is not clear that Mr. Trump’s image can be featured on a coin. An 1866 law enshrined a tradition that only deceased people could appear on U.S. currency to avoid the appearance that America was a monarchy. Trump admin is planning to do it anyway.

Echoing as a nurse. The rhetoric on this issue is horrifyingly inhumane and disgusting
Speaking for all physicians and healthcare providers here. When we see patients in need of care especially in an emergency room we do not leave them for dead. We do not care about their immigration status, we treat them because that is what we took an oath to do and is also basic human decency.
Leavitt: "When an illegal alien goes to the emergency room, who's paying for it? The American taxpayer."

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"
