At this point, if you're interviewing a Republican about the president's latest transgression and you *don't* have the video or post or whatever cued up and ready to show them when they pretend they haven't seen it yet -- I'm just going to assume you're in on the con yourself.

First Trump administration story in a while that genuinely shocked me:
Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump’s El Salvador prison deal
To secure U.S. access to President Nayib Bukele’s notorious CECOT prison, Rubio agreed to turn over several MS-13 leaders central to a long-running Justice Department investigation.

Don’t let the frogwater that’s boiling us alive let you skip over this: we murdered another country’s citizens in cold blood, and when their leader objected, we called him a drug dealer and cut off aid to his country. That’s freakish.
Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

This is the official US response to Petro's comments.

Short-sighted and counter-productive. The pretext is going after gangs like MS-13, but the action is to stop investigations into MS-13 and help MS-13-related government corruption in El Salvador continue. Trump admin actions are regularly pretexts to do things that undermine the pretext.

It sounds conspiratorial to suggest that Vladimir Putin told Donald Trump behind closed doors to launch an assault on mail-in voting in elections administered by the states, and Trump immediately set about mobilizing federal power to do it… but that is literally Trump’s account of what happened.

Tedious to point this out, but:

- When a tongue-tied Biden said "President of Mexico" instead of "Prez of Egypt," it was a several day story.

-Hours after Trump says whoever appointed J Powell made a big mistake (it was him), the episode appears not to merit a story on any national-media sites.

Like, I'm sorry. You can come up with any amount of plausible-sounding reasons for the timing and it does not change the fact that posting pattern does not match the behavior of actual Gazans but matches the exact playbook reported by every single repatriated survivor of the organized scam industry.

Aaron's tweets often remind me TV shows when characters get sent to a different dimension and they're horrified at all the vampires and zombies, only to encounter a mild guy who's been there for years, sipping tea, "Oh, all the monsters. Yeah, that's why they call it Nightmare World."
There's a lot of confusion swirling so it may help to explain that the below is actually fairly normal following an ICE arrest. ICE often transfers people to the deep South where some of the largest detention centers are located, and the ICE Detainee Locator system can take up to 24 hours to update.
Until last night, the ICE detainee locator stated Khalil was at Elizabeth, NJ—even though his wife had been unable to find him there yesterday. This morning, his location has been updated to Jena — a very remote, GEO group-run facility in the middle of rural Louisiana.
