Yes to this whole thread. Gonna need to reread it from time to time and I suspect I am not alone in that.
I think certain organizing trainings did some of us real psychological damage in teaching us that YOU, ORGANIZER, PERSONALLY have responsibility for going out and making people leverage organized power and ultimately saving the world.

With Black Friday approaching, there will inevitably be well-intentioned talk that these deals are only possible because workers are denied a livable wage.

Don't buy into this. It's not low prices vs. fair pay. It's the demand for ever-higher profits and shareholder returns that forces deprivation.

RFK Jr. is neither a joke nor a well-intentioned proponent of public health with a few kooky beliefs. He's a menace, evil even by the standards of Trump's inner circle, and the failure of the political press to convey this is maddening
I actually think it’s okay to take a ridiculous scandal seriously when it involves a wingnut conspiracy theorist in charge of things like vaccine policy and pandemic preparedness

Sorry to be a wet blanket 🤷🏻‍♀️

No bailouts. The US should extort these companies when the crash happens so they get minimal compensation in return for nationalizing the entire panopticon industry and then destroying it once harvested for socially useful parts. It won’t happen but it should
when its definitely not a hostage situation

one of RFK Jr.'s main beefs seem to be that people involved with medicine sometimes materially benefit from their findings, but when his friends sell things like mercury eye drops or chakra-blasting lead pills, they are simply asked to get off the Walmart PA system

I know these are accurate and important & definitely top of the list, but I feel compelled to add: we also learned this week that he is an awful poet who is about as romantic as food poisoning.
RFK Jr described by those who know him best:

"A liar and a terrible human being"
"Messianic self-regard"
"Sadly off his rocker"
"A predator addicted to attention and power"
"Sickening and destructive"
