- 2.5 Million cars a year.
- Most polluted residential road in Camden
- Pavement parking permitted (despite ban)
- 1995 car bouncing champions
- Supports Safe & Healthy streets for all
Hey @adamdkharrison.bsky.social & @richardolszewski.bsky.social There was a very public commitment to consult before any decisions on how to proceed. That promise was not met.

1. Why were decisions made without consultation?
2. Where is the long-promised co-design report?
3. What are you hiding?

Which is better?

More data that @camdencouncil.bsky.social and @adamdkharrison.bsky.social should consider.

Failing to stop 2.1 MILLION cars travelling along just ONE residential road continues to put people’s lives at risk.

How many injuries or deaths are needed before action is taken???

🚶‍♀️🚲 London’s low-traffic neighbourhoods are saving lives. Full stop.

New data shows a more than 33% drop in deaths and serious injuries on roads with low-traffic zones. That’s real impact—fewer deaths, safer streets, and healthier communities.

Clean air should be a basic human right like clean water.
Would you be happy with dirty & toxic water out of the tap?

We need clean air zones, but it's not just in city centres so more needs to be done including increasing fuel duty and more school streets.

It’s been four and a half years since the Government consultation on banning pavement parking with still no outcome.

Explaining the benefits of low traffic neighbourhoods before they happen can be hard, as the effects are made by humans.

This is my local pub 2 mins walk from my house right now.

A model filter has become the centre of the community, with parents drinking, and kids playing.

These people do not represent the majority of Camden or Dartmouth Park residents. They are a privileged minority whose minds are inflexible to change…

@camdencouncil.bsky.social should be listening to the silent majority and look to the future, not pandering to comfortable retirees.

Pretty shocked to see this picture of a meeting of Camden Dartmouth Park residents opposing an LTN so I thought I’d google some more LTN meetings/protests and do a thread of them… (representative median age for Dartmouth Park Area: 40, Camden: 34) 🧵

One of the reasons will be increasing traffic. But god forbid we should put in any #TrafficRestriction on residential streets to address this.
Sad graphs on the squeezing of outdoor play and school playtimes in England. Maybe rather than showing Adolescence in schools we could improve play facilities for young people?

Remember, Paris wasn’t “always this way.”

Not that many years ago, Paris was choking in car traffic. And it wasn’t a safe place to ride a bike for transportation, so not many people tried.

This is new. This is a result of deliberate vision, and bold leadership.

Cities are a result of choices.

Cars are getting 1cm wider every two years. That may not sound much, but over time it adds up, and they're showing no signs of slowing down 😬

That's #carspreading. Our new campaign is calling on city leaders to make parking policies fairer by varying costs based on the size of a car.

With almost identical levels of traffic, this is enviable intervention needs to happen on Chetwynd Rd.

Change. Is. Good.
Four years ago this road had 5,500 rat runner per day using it to cut between two A roads in Chiswick, London.

Now it is a safe route to two schools, parks and playing fields for parents and children.

LTNS are really good actually.
