Chetwynd Road
@chetwyndroad.bsky.social
- 2.5 Million cars a year.
- Most polluted residential road in Camden
- Pavement parking permitted (despite ban)
- 1995 car bouncing champions
- Supports Safe & Healthy streets for all
Oh yes we do! All thanks to Camden ignoring the 1970's London ban to facilitate traffic on a residential road (2.1M cars a year!)

The continued silence breeds suspicion as winter nears...

Where is the report & what are you hiding? @camdencouncil.bsky.social & @islington-council.bsky.social

It's time to be transparent & accountable @richardolszewski.bsky.social & @marcusboyland.bsky.social

It’s over 1 year since the Co-design phase concluded. A report was promised, delayed, and a new deadline set by @richardolszewski.bsky.social for Spring 2025.

Autumn begins tomorrow - Why has this report not been published @camdencouncil.bsky.social ?

Camden’s Healthy Streets policy has no provision to “pause” a scheme after pre-consultation co-design – yet that’s exactly what’s happened. If it’s not in the agreed process, is this even lawful? @richardolszewski.bsky.social @adamdkharrison.bsky.social #LocalGov #Accountability

@adamdkharrison.bsky.social @richardolszewski.bsky.social If nothing is being done about traffic & air pollution, can you do something about improving accessibility of our pavements by enforcing the law?

Pretty sure it would result in @CamdenCouncil issuing 100+ PCN’s, owners protesting, then council cancels all the PCN’s.

Endorsement of pavement parking is rife, with the @Camdencouncil actively choosing pollution and the restriction of human movement.

Don’t believe the BS they promote…

Really not hard to do. If we can report flytipping on an app we should be able to report this in the same way.

This didn't age well

If agreement was forthcoming from Islington, then both councils have breached the process, and have treated the co-design phase as a de facto consultation without notifying the public this was the case.

Likely the decision was political in nature, and not taken in the interest of public health.

It’s curious that a decision was made at this point in the process... We were promised a decision would be made after consultation, not before. @camdencouncil.bsky.social did not follow the process they outlined and denied the community opportunity to respond.

How many children, families , disabled and vulnerable road users will be injured or poisoned whilst @camdencouncil.bsky.social dither on road safety on our not-so people friendly streets ?
