The Commission purchased the adverts with a small amount of public money and ran them during the public sector strikes.

Headlines like this are extremely dangerous. Because moms of young kids are the people who make the bulk of the vaccine decisions for famillies. And for a lot of them, "reading the news" looks like scrolling past headlines on social media in the spare moments of the chaos of caring for kids.

War Is a Racket, Medley S. Butler, 1935.
There’s nothing new about this plan from the Kremlin.

It’s just so no other American administration in history was so devoid morals and a belief in American values and an understanding of American security to pursue it with such vigor

It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

• Ordinary criminals (grift and corruption).

• Sex criminals.

• War criminals.

An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

We will be able to rebuild a constitutional order when Trump is deposed. But it will require rooting out the influence of billionaires, reinvigorating democratic decision making, and complete reform of the corrupted courts. We can do this.

The last sentence might sound like semantics, but it's important. Govt spending adds cash to the economy (we get richer) and Govt taxation takes it away again (we get poorer).
Govt 'borrow' by creating cash and spending it.
The more $ Govt spend, the more $ we have to pay taxes. A simple truth.

A *huge* vaccine victory. I've been writing on this for years; Australia has seen remarkable progress in cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine. I love seeing science triumph like this.
Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.
