Katie Wilson increased her lead over incumbent Bruce Harrell to 1,346 votes in the race for Seattle mayor today. She's now ahead 50.08% to 49.59%. Last minute ballots definitely broke strongly for Wilson.

Joke of the day from Moscow: Russia tried to unveil its first humanoid AI robot, Aidol. Key word: tried. The robot collapsed during its debut, forcing organizers to cut the presentation short. Their rushed attempt to lift the prop only made things worse.

It's terrible that successful programs like this one, which helps assist immigrants getting into college, have been eliminated by the feds. An independent #Cascadia could do better.
Students in the College Access Migrant Program are far more likely to stay in school, federal research found. But the Trump administration called such programs “extremely costly” and cut off funding this school year.
