Seeing the hate and outrage over Bad Bunny being named the super bowl halftime act, shows that it was never about America first, but its about racism and if you don't look like "us" you don't belong. Puerto Ricans are American citizens. So they're either dumb or racist. I'll take BOTH for 200 Alex.

Yes, exactly this. I don't know why this is so hard to grasp, but running away when Trump illegally sends the military into US cities only makes Trump stronger. It squanders a chance to make good arguments and fuels the idea that Trump has the public on his side, which he doesn't. Stop cowering.
Also, not really the point of Greg’s piece, but liberals scolding protesters for waving the wrong flag should think harder about their own insight. If they’re simply worried about the spread of politically harmful imagery, they should spend less time fretting and more time spreading helpful imagery.
