Hey @theincomparable.com, I wanted to listen to episode 374 about The Dark Tower, but when I download it with my player, or listen to it on your webpage, I get episode 372, about Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.

I'd really love to listen to 374 if you have it!

The no-angeling is already in full swing.

I teach bystander intervention for a living and have taught de-escalation to law enforcement.

Trust me when I say that bottle girls, gas station clerks, strippers, front desk employees at hotels and airports, baristas, etc. have better de-escalation skills than any cop I've ever seen.

"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." — George Orwell, 1984.
That he chooses the "me or your lying eyes?" approach, in the full knowledge that there are multiple videos out there, is a striking commentary on the nature of propaganda in the modern information environment.
Trump: "I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting ... "

I don't care if this "won't work" or "it won't happen". Do it anyway. Keep doing it. Over and over again. This fucking administration sucks.
I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

Supremacy wants to gain all the benefits of society without paying any natural costs, like fair competition.

This response to even the slightest leveling of the playing field demonstrates how committed to the supremacist notion we white folk still are.

Imagine if we ever experienced true equality.

It’s been a month since I wrote this and I want to reiterate that as bad as things look now, Americans don’t understand how bad things are going to get.
Multiple times this year I’ve had coffee with fellow immigrants who grew up in corrupt third world countries and the shared sentiment has been that Americans don’t understand how bad things are going to get.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

Helpful tips if you want people on social media to like and not block you! (Of course you can ignore the tips if you don’t want those things!)
1. Don't snitch-tag.
2. Don't explain to people what they just said.
3. Don't "correct" people's jokes.
4. Don't respond seriously to silly little posts.
5. Don't respond trivially to obviously serious posts.
6. Don't "jocularly insult" people you don't know.

The rest is commentary.
People should have to pass a social media etiquette class before they’re allowed to purchase a smart phone.

My brother in Christ, the tariffs are 145%. It’d be cheaper for them to give it to you for free than pay $145 tax on selling you a $100 item. 🤦🏾‍♂️
