The Britcard (bleurgh) won’t solve any of the systemic problems we face: not poverty, not inequality, not the climate crisis.

But it will make millions for some IT companies & create lucrative jobs for ex-Labour politicians. Just like PPE contracts during Covid.

I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

The UK should join the growing boycott of Eurovision if Israel is allowed to take part.

Eurovision is a celebration of diversity, love and unity. But that's not possible if it’s being used to whitewash genocide.

Israel should be removed as Russia was after its invasion of Ukraine.

The case for independence is most convincing when we are obviously straining the limits of our current powers.

Talking up indy but failing to use existing powers is damaging to our cause. People won't vote Yes if they're unhappy with the job Holyrood is already doing.

Can't wait for the wall-to-wall media coverage of What This Means, the endless thinkpieces about Green Party dominance in a working class community meaning Labour has to take their concerns seriously and pivot towards them, you know like we'd get if Reform had won.

Voting has now opened for the Scottish Greens Holyrood candidate selection - and I’ve just cast my vote.

I am standing to be South Scotland’s next Green MSP, so if you want a bold, results driven candidate who can deliver real Green change for our region, vote Cameron Garrett #1

Certainly one of the more dramatic pieces that has been written about the internal politics of the Scottish Greens, not usually a topic for major papers, that's for sure - albeit briefing like this hasn't been unheard of, it's just gone in the other direction previously 😬 archive.ph/0tvbt

At Waverley Care, we strongly welcome this news; early diagnosis saves lives and is key to achieving our goal of zero new HIV transmission by 2030.

I think there's a bizarre side-impact here that the Supreme Court may have just removed protections against discrimination for women who aren't gender conforming enough.

Which would be, inarguably, the most anti-feminist UK judgement of the century.

The Scottish Government of John Swinney's SNP will not be appealing the judgement.

Despite it flagrantly placing the entire UK in breach of the ECHR.
The Scottish Government accepts today’s Supreme Court judgement. The ruling gives clarity between two relevant pieces of legislation passed at Westminster.

We will now engage on the implications of the ruling. Protecting the rights of all will underpin our actions.

When 2,800 jobs were being lost in Port Talbot, this UK Government chose not to consider nationalisation.

Now in Scunthorpe, everything is on the table.

Labour must now explain to the people of south Wales why their jobs weren’t worth saving.

I’m glad to see our party’s briefing and bullying problem getting called out.

Too many people have been made ill, forced out of involvement, and driven to quit jobs or roles through bullying and bad behaviour.

Any new leader needs to lead our culture in a new direction.

the funny thing is as well is you can usually guess exactly who these "sources" are. Scottish politics and the Green party aren't big enough for modes of communication not to be broadly identifiable lol
The anonymous "sources" and "insiders" releasing anonymous briefings and sniping to Scottish media from within the Scottish Greens need to put up, slap their names on their statements, or shut up.

This craven, nasty, back-stabbing approach to internal politics is beneath us and needs to be cut out.
