She/her//sí/í. Done working around the world, happy to be back home in the gorgeous Kingdom of Kerry, ensconced in Munster, the true home of northern hemisphere rugby. Lucky to have such wonderful niblings who keep me in touch with this 21st Century stuff.

The only reason Gill stopped being the Reform UK leader in Wales was because he failed to win a seat in the 2021 Senedd election.

Zia Yusuf keeps trying to make this sound like this is ancient history, and Reform washed their hands of him, but nothing is further from the truth.

A false claim that one in every ten people in Co Kerry is now Ukrainian has spread online since being posted by an anti-immigration activist.

Debunked: No, Ukrainians do not make up 10% of the population of Co Kerry
Small population sizes of local electoral areas mean that population changes can seem drastic.

This is the ultimate example of someone not getting a joke. This guy doesn't understand the very concept of jokes at a fundamental level. If you tell a joke to roast someone it only works because you were clever enough to think of it and deliver it well.

Another anti-Occupied Territories Bill piece in the Irish Times that studiously avoids facing up to the International Court of Justices rulings. Hey, never even mentions the place.

That takes serious effort. Pity the Times publishes the stuff.
Anti Occupied Territories Bill latest avoids any mention of ICJ: ‘Will Ireland risk its financial security in its determination to punish Israel with a Bill which achieves nothing more than performative self-congratulation and an appeal to the anti-Israel frenzy?’

Opinion: A McCarthyite fervour has overtaken Ireland where Israel is concerned
The issue I have is not that Ireland is pro-Palestinian - its people’s rights and future must be protected - but that it is so aggressively anti-Israel

I like how he came up with his own definition of genocide and rolled with that throughout entire piece to 'prove' Israel didn't commit one. He also fails to mention the vast majority of these "moderate Israelis" fully supported the genocide and most were willing to see IDF go even further

Another nonsense opinion piece devoid of evidence to support it's arguments claiming the "war" would have ended if hostages were release, dismisses genocide and apartheid despite ruling in international courts while positioning himself as a balanced person of the centre.

The DFA officials at the Oireachtas Committee hearing this week were clear - to abide by the ICJ ruling, we must include goods AND services in the OTB.

Furthermore, officials also noted that the exclusion of services would weaken the Bill's ability to stand up to scrutiny in the European Courts.

I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!

When Biden was elected they literally tried to overturn the election, by legal means and when that failed, by force. Then they spent the next four years gaslighting and justifying it, and pardoned everyone who was part of the attempt.
